HP Chromebook 11 has faced a few problems since its launch, and stopped selling in the market due to faulty chargers. Recently, the folks who purchased the Chromebook received their replacement chargers along with a $25 Google Play Credit with an apology for the inconvenience caused.
Now that the charger issue is resolved, it seems it will be hitting retail as Amazon is selling the affordable laptop with the new charger for $279.
The laptop comes with a similar set of specifications and rocks a 11.6-inch IPS display sporting a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel with Samsung Exynos 5250 ARM Cortex-A15 dual-core processor under the hood and 2GB of RAM. HP Chromebook 11 comes with 16GB storage onboard, with an extra 100 GB storage from Google Drive free for two years, and a battery that can lasts up to 6 hours of usage.
Other specifications on the HP Chromebook 11 include 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and optional 3G, VGA web camera, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a slimport video out port. The notebook is shipping with the new charger, which solves all the overheating issue that were haunting the Chromebook users who purchased it as early adopters.
