There are three versions of the new Apple Watch, the entry level Sport model is made from aluminum, the standard Watch model made from stainless steel and the Watch Edition model is made from gold.
Apple is using a new manufacturing process for each version of the Apple Watch, and the way the metal is constructed is slightly different than other watches.
The three videos below show how the various three metals used in the Apple Watch are formed, and using different processes, Apple says that their new metals are stronger than standard metal, have a look at the videos below.
The prices for Apple’s new smartwatch have a wide range with $349 be the entry level price for the aluminum model up to a massive $17,000 for the top end gold model. Apple will start taking pre-orders of their new Apple Watch on the 10th of April and the device will launch on the 24th of April.
