Guerrilla Games has today revealed more details about the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds DLC, which, as you would expect, provides additional content for the original Horizon Zero Dawn game.
The additional content takes the form of new storylines, characters, and experiences in an unforgiving new area. Check out the official E3 2017 PlayStation 4 trailer below to learn more about what you can expect from The Frozen Wilds.

Today I’m thrilled to announce The Frozen Wilds, an expansion of Horizon Zero Dawn set in the icy territories of the north. To pique your curiosity, we’ve prepared a teaser trailer for you. Expanding the vibrant, post-apocalyptic world of Horizon Zero Dawn and continuing the journey of young machine hunter Aloy, The Frozen Wilds adds a brand new area with its own compelling storyline, adventures, and side activities.
New Adventures and Challenges
The Frozen Wilds promises to deliver a plethora of new adventures and challenges for players. The expansion is set in the icy territories of the north, a stark contrast to the diverse environments of the original game. This new area is expected to be as visually stunning and richly detailed as the rest of Horizon Zero Dawn, offering players a fresh landscape to explore and conquer.
Players will once again step into the shoes of Aloy, the young and skilled machine hunter. The new storyline will delve deeper into her journey, providing more context and background to her character.
