Honda is set to debut the all-new 2018 Accord on July 14. Ahead of that official unveil comes a teaser image of the car that shows an Accord that looks pretty cool, which isn’t something you can say about many of the iterations of the Accord. The car has a rather long history of being boring, bland, and very conservative despite the fact that Honda sells lots of the cars.
The image you see here is a sketch of the 2018 Accord that will make its global debut in Detroit. That unveil event will be livestreamed on YouTube on July 14 at 11 a.m. EDT. Honda promises that the all-new 2018 Accord will be the most dramatically styled Accord ever. The Accord will have three different engines to choose from.
Two of them will be direct-injected and turbocharged engines with a new 10-speed electric transmission, CVT, or a 6-speed manual. A Honda two-motor hybrid version will also be offered. Honda has also taken time to brag about the current Accord being the leading seller in the midsize sedan market for four years in a row. There is no word on when the new Accord will go on sale or how much it will cost at this time.
