Hennessey is widely known for making fast cars faster, and that is what it is cooking up with new modification packages for the McLaren 600LT. The packages on the 600LT mirror those offered by Hennessey on the 570 line. Buyers can opt for upgrade packages that range from 708hp up to 1,001 hp.
The HPE 700 package adds high flor air filters, ECU tune, and stainless exhaust. The result is a car with 708hp and 635 lb-ft of torque. The next up is the HPE 800 package that adds an upgraded turbo and intercooler to reach 855hp and 722 lb-ft of torque.
The HPE 1000 package plugs in twin turbos and a Motec ECU, along with a new exhaust and a transmission upgrade to result in 1,001 hp and 865 lb-ft of torque. That version can hit 60mph in 2.1 seconds and run the quarter mile in 9.6-seconds. The HPE 700 package will cost $17,950, HPE 800 is $34,950, and the HPE 1000 is $99,500.
