If you want a Mustang with the most power you can get under the hood, you might want to check out the Hennessey 25th Anniversary Edition HPE800 Mustang GT. The car makes 804hp at 7000 rpm and has 648 lb-ft of torque. That is enough power and torque to push the Mustang to 60mph in 3.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 207.9mph.
If quarter mile racing is more your style the car promises a 10.7-second run at 133 mph. that is plenty fast to get you booted off the track since the car has no roll cage. All that power comes from a slew of mods and the most important of them is the 2.9L supercharger system.
A bunch of styling products and carbon fiber bits along with suspension tweaks round out the details of the car. Only 25 of these will be produced and they are all covered by a Hennessey 36month/36000 mile warranty. Power ratings for the car are with 93-octane fuel and a 6-speed manual. I see no indication that the internals of the motor were upgraded to handle the power. Hennessey will build the car on coupe or convertible Mustang’s with manual or automatic transmission.
