Brandon Hoe as designed a new smartphone photography system called the Helium Core, which has been specifically designed to provide the “basic building blocks for iPhoneography”.
Allowing smartphone photographers to use the iPhone photographic case and chassis to connect a wide variety of different lenses and mounts depending on your photographic requirements at the time.
Check out the video below to see just how versatile the Helium Core photography phone case is and the wide variety of different attachments that can be combined to suit almost any photography situation. Designer Hoe explains more about what you can expect from the design and smartphone photographic system.
The Helium Core is a pocket-sized, sturdy aluminum chassis that lets you easily add lenses or filters, and accessories such as flashes, lights and microphones to your iPhone. It has a more ergonomic grip and multiple mounting points for a tripod, while allowing access to the display, switches, buttons, jacks and ports on your iPhone.
With the Helium Core, you can customize your iPhone and set it up as a filmmaking camera, a photography camera, a mobile journalism rig, a live broadcasting setup, or a vlogging rig. Its durable design and ability to let you flexibly place accessories on it makes it a solid foundation for your iPhone-based camera system, all in a pocket-sized design.
The Helium Core makes your iPhone more comfortable to hold in your hands by giving you something more substantial to grab onto. Its curved surfaces were designed for both aesthetic and ergonomic reasons.
