Ever fancied owning your very own plane? Well, Greenwing International has this month launched a new ultralight electric airplane that is now available to purchase for $40,000.
The Greenwing International ultralight electric airplane is powered by a 13kwh battery pack that can be fully charged in two to three hours. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
The ultralight electric airplane weighs just 410 pounds and measures 20 ft in length with a 33ft wing span and on a full battier charge is capable of flying for up to 90 minutes reaching speeds of up to 38mph.
The first 50 eSpyder single-seat electric planes will be sold as DIY build kits for for around $40,000 with another Another 25 being sold in Europe for €34,990 each.
