Space X and Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced new plans to launch some new micro satellites to deliver Internet connections around the world.
Google and other companies like Facebook are also working on other solutions to provide Internet connectivity, Google has Project Loon, and now it would appear that they are interested in investing in Space X.
According to a recent report by The Information, Google is close to investing in Space X for these new micro satellites and their investment will value Space X at around $10 billion.
The Wall Street Journal has received some information on the amount of money Google is expected to invest in the company, this is said to be around $1 billion.
Space X plans to launch a fleet of around 750 micro satellites, which would make it the largest fleet of satellites and around 10 times larger than the current biggest fleet.
