Holidays are approaching fast and everyone is buying gifts for their family and friends. Just like every year, Google is offering its employees a choice between Google Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 tablet as a holiday gift this year. Last year, the company offered users with a choice between a Chromebook, a Motorola Phone and a Google Nexus 7 (2012) tablet. This time, the choice of products appears to be better compared to last year.
Last year, Google didn’t offer its employees Nexus 4 due to it’s limited supply, but it seems it’s not the case this year. In 2011, Google gave away a custom Galaxy Nexus, and not to forget 2010. Google didn’t offer any products in 2010, but gave its employees a holiday bonus of $1,000 and a 10 percent raise. Sweet isn’t it?
Google Nexus 5 is facing shipment delays with almost all the configurations in major markets including US and Europe. However, it was reported earlier this week that 32GB White Nexus is in stock and currently ship in 1-2 days (at the time of the post). It seems the search engine giant reserved a handful of units for employees. Well, even if it’s available in limited quantities, employees can always go for the Nexus 7 which is one of the best tablets available in the market.
