UK mobile carrier Vodafone has announced that they are now taking pre-orders on the new Google Nexus 6P.
The Nexus 6P is available to pre-order on a range of Vodafone contracts, with prices starting at £35 a month and an upfront cost of £9.
Impressive Specifications and Features
The Nexus 6P comes with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which brings a host of new features and improvements over previous versions. The handset features some impressive specifications that make it a strong contender in the high-end smartphone market.
The display on the Nexus 6P measures 5.7 inches and it has a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, providing sharp and vibrant visuals. This makes it ideal for watching videos, playing games, and browsing the web. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, which ensures smooth performance and efficient multitasking. It also features an Adreno 430 GPU, which enhances the device’s graphics capabilities, making it perfect for gaming and other graphics-intensive applications. Additionally, the Nexus 6P comes with 3GB of RAM, which further boosts its performance and allows for seamless switching between apps.
Storage Options and Camera Capabilities
Other specifications in the device include a choice of 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of built-in storage, catering to different user needs. Whether you need ample space for apps, photos, videos, or other files, the Nexus 6P has you covered. However, it’s worth noting that the device does not support expandable storage via microSD cards, so users should choose their storage option wisely.
The Nexus 6P also comes with dual cameras that are designed to capture high-quality photos and videos. On the front of the handset, there is an 8-megapixel camera that is perfect for selfies and video calls. The front camera also supports features like HDR+ and can record 1080p videos. On the back of the device, there is a 12.3-megapixel camera that boasts a large 1.55μm pixel size, which allows for better low-light performance. The rear camera also supports 4K video recording, slow-motion video, and has a dual-LED flash for improved photo quality in various lighting conditions.
In addition to its impressive hardware, the Nexus 6P includes a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device, which provides an added layer of security and convenience. The fingerprint sensor can be used to unlock the phone, authorize purchases, and access secure apps.
The Nexus 6P also features a USB Type-C port, which allows for faster charging and data transfer compared to traditional micro-USB ports. The device supports fast charging, which means you can get up to 7 hours of use from just 10 minutes of charging.
