Over the past week we have heard quite a bit about the Google Phone or the Google Nexus One, now the latest rumor doing the rounds is that Google may be launching a Google branded netbook which will run their Chrome OS.
Google has been working with a range of manufacturers to produce Chrome OS netbook, although they haven’t been Google branded ones, now Tech Crunch are reporting that Google are working closely with one manufacturer to produce their own Google branded netbook.
Although it seems like Google aren’t in too much of a hurry to release a Google branded netbook, as they apparently have a launch target of the later part of 2010 just before Christmas.
It would be interesting to see what a Google Netbook would be like, I suspect it would work very well with Google’s Chrome OS as the hardware would be specifically designed for their OS.
I guess we will have to wait until the later part of 2010, until then I guess we have the Google Nexus One to look forward to.
