Google has been working with a range of manufacturers to produce Chrome OS netbooks, although they haven’t been Google-branded ones. Now, Tech Crunch is reporting that Google is working closely with one manufacturer to produce their own Google-branded netbook.
Google’s Strategic Move into Hardware
Although it seems like Google isn’t in too much of a hurry to release a Google-branded netbook, as they apparently have a launch target of the later part of 2010, just before Christmas, this move is significant.
