GMC has been making near copies of Chevrolet trucks for the average person for decades now. For 2016, GMC has announced that it is making some updates to the Sierra Elevation Edition truck. The big thing about the Elevation Edition truck is that it gets body-color moldings, door handles, mirror caps, grille, and bumpers.
The wheels the truck uses are painted black and measure 20-inches. The truck also wears Elevation Edition badging. All Elevation Edition trucks are based on the Sierra double cab truck. For 2016, the special edition gets revised front-end styling, new HID projector beam headlights, and GMC signature LED lights. The interior of the truck features a standard 7-inch screen infotainment system that supports CarPlay and Android Auto. GMC also integrates OnStar 4G LTE and a hot spot for WiFi devices.
All Elevation Edition trucks get keyless entry, remote locking tailgate, heated outside mirrors, 110-volt AC outlet, black recovery hooks, and six-speaker audio. The 4.3L V6 is the standard engine with a 5.3L V8 available. Elevation Edition buyers can opt for 2WD or 4WD versions of the truck. A rear vision camera system is also standard along with all terrain tires and XM radio.
