Google has released a new version of Gmail for Android and the update brings a range of new features to Google’s email app on Android.
The latest version of Gmail for Android now comes with a unified inbox, and now all of your emails from different accounts can be found in the one inbox.
These days, many of us have more than one email address. If you’re a student, you may have one account for school, one for a campus group you lead, and one for your blog. If you’re a parent, you might have one for family and one for your business. However many email addresses you have, today’s improvements to the Gmail app for Android make it easy to manage all your mail from all your accounts (yes, even @yahoo and @outlook) while you’re on the go.
As well as the unified inbox the new Gmail for Android app brings all of your emails to Google’s conversation view and this feature now supports multiple email accounts and multiple email addresses.
Google has also made some changes to the search function in Gmail for Android, according to Google search is now faster and comes with an improved auto-complete.
