Sony has this month introduced a new augmented reality headset prototype which will be used on the previously announced Ghostbusters experience taking place at Ginza Sony Park. The Ghostbusters themed multiplayer experience allows participants to use the new Sony AR headset to enjoy the experience as well as wrist mounted devices that possibly offer haptic immersion. Sony says the GhostbustersAR experience uses the company’s latest visual, tactile, and auditory technologies but has not revealed any specifications or individual details about the new hardware.

The free Ghostbusters AR experience is now available to enjoy and will continue until December 8th, 2019. If you are interested in taking part you will need to register your details and players are picked via a lottery system. Two to four sessions are planned to take place eachTake Pl, Ghostbusters AR sessions last approximately 60 minutes.
