Developer Joey Rizzoli has this week revealed that the new Gello web browser which was unveiled last year and has been in development to roll out with CyanogenMod will soon be available on a select range of devices running the latest CyanogenMod 13 operating system.
So unfortunately not every device running CyanogenMod 13 will be able to access the new Gello web browser, but you can find a partial list of devices that will initially support Gello over on the official CyanogenMod Italy website via the link below.
The new web browser is based on Google’s Chromium source code and features a number of useful benefits and offers features that are included with Chrome as well as a number of special features.
These include offering edge navigation allow you to swipe left or right on the edge of your smartphone to move backwards or forwards between webpages and more. Check out the video below for a brief introduction to the Gello web browser.
