As well as launching their new Vivoactive HR fitness tracker during the Mobile World Conference 2016 this week in Barcelona, Garmin also unveiled a new Garmin Vivofit 3 fitness tracker which builds on the previous generations to provide a more rounded activity detection device.
The latest generation now features a tree that is capable of lasting for one year, yet is still capable of tracking your steps, calories, distance, intensity minutes and also monitors your sleep patterns using the Move IQ application and technology.
As you can see from the images both above and below the new Garmin Vivofit 3 is now available with a range of different bracelets styles to choose from to suit your taste and fashion sense, check out the video below to learn more about this latest generation fitness tracker created by Garmin who explains :
While it’s ideal to be moving all throughout the day, we know that’s not always the case. Luckily, vívofit 3 tracks any and all of your movement, including inactivity. So while you might lose track of time and forget to move, vívofit 3 won’t. A red move bar appears on the display and a gentle alert sounds after 1 hour of inactivity. The move bar builds every 15 minutes until you reset it by walking for a couple of minutes.
One of the smartest activity trackers we’ve ever made, vivofit 3 automatically detects different kinds of movement. If you haven’t moved in a while, it’ll let you know, too. Don’t forget, the backlight always stays on for easy visibility and the battery will last up to a year, so no excuses. Are you ready for the challenge?
