When EE launched their new EE Power Bar initiative to provide free top-up battery packs to its customers, that can either be swapped in EE stores for a fully charged one when flat, or toped up yourself using a spare USB connection.
EE received 1 million requests for the EE Power Bar in just 4 days and was forced to put their new promotion on hold until this week.
Now EE has announced they have more EE Power Bar in stock ready to issue to registered customers to help keep their smart phones and tablets topped up throughout the day. EE explains more :
Your Power Bar is the ideal way to charge your smartphone when you’re out enjoying a festival weekend. Pop it in your pocket, and you’ve got a guaranteed backup – so you can grab that selfie by the main stage, or video your favourite band playing their greatest hit.
Whether you’re at Glasto, or just having a party in the park, EE Power Bar will make sure your phone’s always on when you need it.
Just so you’re aware, for EE Power’s swapping service to work we have to keep ownership of the Power Bars we’re giving out. But using and swapping your Power Bar is always completely free. All we ask is you nip into store every 18 months to check your Power Bar in.
