A few weeks back I traded my old car in on a new Ford Mustang GT that has the Sync system inside. Of all the high-tech features on the car, Sync is certainly my favorite. Sync is much more than an integrated hands free system for your mobile phone.
Ford has announced that Sync will be getting a cool new feature that allows the driver to control certain Blackberry and Android apps with their voice. The new feature will first be seen on the 2011 Fiesta.
The voice control will work on the Pandora app on both platforms allowing the driver to switch station on the smartphone app using their voice and the Sync system. Starting next year Ford says the feature will be added to all Sync equipped vehicles. The feature will also gain support for the iPhone in 2011.
Have a look and our article on Android vs iPhone to see which smartphone and mobile platform is best for you.
