Ford is set to toss the most luxurious F-150 it has ever made onto the market this fall. Ford says that the new F-150 Limited is more luxurious and comfortable than the existing F-150 Platinum and F-150 King Ranch trucks. Limited buyers will get 22-inch polished chrome wheels, a chrome front bumper with body color end caps, a unique grille, and lots more.
Power and Performance
Power for Limited trucks will come from the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 pushing 365hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The V6 will be mated with a 6-speed auto transmission and can pull 10,100 pounds when properly equipped. Four-wheel drive versions of the truck will automatically change from 2WD to 4WD depending on road conditions. This ensures optimal traction and stability, making it suitable for various terrains and weather conditions. The EcoBoost engine is known for its efficiency and power, providing a balance between performance and fuel economy. This makes the F-150 Limited not only a powerhouse but also a practical choice for long-distance travel and heavy-duty tasks.
Interior and Comfort
Limited buyers will get special Mojave leather inside with a two-tone black and brown pattern. This luxurious interior is designed to provide maximum comfort and style, making every drive a pleasurable experience. The seats are not only aesthetically pleasing but also ergonomically designed to support long hours of driving. Four colors will be offered on the Limited including shadow black, magnetic, blue jeans, and white platinum metallic tri-coat. These color options allow buyers to choose a finish that best suits their personal style.
A number of safety features will be built in including BLIS with cross-traffic alert and a lane keeping system. The pro trailer backup assist will be built in as well as a trailer hitch connecting system and 360-degree camera system. These advanced safety features ensure that drivers have all the assistance they need to navigate safely and efficiently. The BLIS system helps detect vehicles in the blind spot, while the cross-traffic alert warns of approaching traffic when backing out of a parking space. The lane keeping system helps prevent unintentional lane departures, adding an extra layer of safety.
The pro trailer backup assist simplifies the process of backing up with a trailer, making it easier even for those who are not experienced in towing. The trailer hitch connecting system ensures a secure and hassle-free connection, while the 360-degree camera system provides a comprehensive view of the surroundings, making parking and maneuvering in tight spaces much easier.
Additional Features and Technology
The F-150 Limited is also equipped with a range of technological features designed to enhance the driving experience. These include an advanced infotainment system with a large touchscreen display, navigation, and smartphone integration. The sound system is top-notch, providing high-quality audio for music lovers. Additionally, the truck comes with multiple USB ports and wireless charging capabilities, ensuring that all your devices stay powered up on the go.
The climate control system is another highlight, offering dual-zone automatic temperature control to keep both the driver and passengers comfortable. Heated and ventilated seats add to the luxury, providing comfort in all weather conditions. The panoramic sunroof is another luxurious touch, allowing natural light to flood the cabin and providing a sense of openness.
Pricing is unannounced at this time, but given the extensive list of features and the level of luxury offered, it is expected to be positioned at the higher end of the market. The F-150 Limited is set to redefine what a luxury truck can be, combining power, performance, and comfort in a way that few other vehicles can match.
