If you like to play with car configurator online to build the exact ride you would like to own, Fiat has something that you will want to check out. If you are a fan of the Mazda MX-5 but you can’t quite get into the design of the little roadster in its newest form, the Fiat 124 might be just the ticket. It turns out the little Fiat 124 Spider is very reasonably priced.
US fans can now build up their favorite version of the little roadster including the Classica, Lusso, and Elaborazione Abarth version. Sadly, the Abarth version that we can get there in the US doesn’t offer the flat black hood decals that the show car offered. I rather liked that tidbit.
The Classica starts at $24,995, the Lusso at $27,495, and the Abarth starts at $28,195. Abarth buyers can also add Alcantara Recaro seats and Brembo brakes if they are so inclined. I really like the Recaro seats, if you plan to take the Abarth version to the track, those seats help you stay planted whilst embarrassing Porsche owners. I hope options to make the Abarth look just like the show cars turn up down the road.
