Apple has Siri, Google has Google has Google Now, Microsoft has Cortana and now according to a recent report, Facebook is working on a new virtual assistant called Moneypenny.
Facebook’s Moneypenny virtual assistant will apparently be integrated into the Facebook Messenger app, although it would appear that Facebook will approach things slightly differently than other virtual assistants like Apple’s Siri.
According to a recent report by The Information, Facebook’s Moneypenny will be powered by Humans rather than machines and you will be able to talk to a person through the app.
How exactly this will work and what it will be used for has not been revealed as yet, as soon as we get some more details on exactly what the company has planned for their new assistant feature in their Messenger app, we will let you guys know.
