A new and environmental friendly tablet has been unveiled this week in the form of the EnerGenie EPP2 e-paper printer which as been created to help keep our paper usage to a minimum.
The EnerGenie EPP2 can be seen being unboxed after the jump and has been designed to print and read documents in the way you are used to without any use of traditional paper. The EnerGenie EPP2 simply connects to your PC and is then automatically recognised as a printer.
Once your documents are on the EnerGenie EPP2 you can then edit them and read the just like they were printed on traditional paper. The EnerGenie EPP2 is equipped with a 9.7 inch, 1600 x 1200 pixel E Ink screen helping to provide a long battery life for its 2350mA of juice.
The EnerGenie EPP2 is powered by a 800 MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot all running Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread-based operating system. When the EnerGenie EPP2 lands in stores it expected to be priced around €400 or $600.
