Aeroslon has created a unique electric bike called the Aeroslon 500 which at first glance looks as though it’s something from the 1930s or 1940s thanks to the sprung seat and drop handlebars. The Aeroslon 500 is capable of a top speed of 34 mph and offers a range up to 49 miles in street mode thanks to its 500 watt motor on a full charge. Once flat the rechargeable 16Ah battery can be recharged from flat to full in under three hours thanks to its “premium class high amperage industrial grade li-ion cells”.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the unique electric bike which is launched via Kickstarter this week with early bird pledges available from $699 and worldwide delivery expected to take place during November 2019.
“The first glance brings to mind the past days of the 30s and 40s. In those times things were designed to be beautiful, functional and everlasting. This idea inspired us through all stages of design. You’ll feel motorcycle sensibilities without a license or registration. “
“If you use it properly you lose only 10 to 20% of battery capacity after crossing 1000 full charges. Don’t you worry because it means you will not feel any change in battery capacity for the next 3 years. The engine, electronics and the battery are safely closed in watertight casing.”
