One of the biggest features missing from Apple devices such as the iPad and the iPhone is a memory card slot. The lack of a memory card slot means it can be a challenge to get files on and off an Apple device. A new product has surfaced from a company called Apotop that promises to make getting data on and off your Apple gadget easy to do.
The device is called the DW09 Wi-Reader and provides wireless access to memory cards and USB drives. The device supports flash drives and externally powered hard drives up to 3 TB in capacity. The device supports multiple SD card formats and allows the sharing of content with up to three users at the same time.
The device supports streaming of video to the iPhone using an application. Power for the DW09 comes from an internal rechargeable battery. The device can also be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot when you travel. Pricing and availability information is unavailable at this time.
