The 25th anniversary of the debut of the Dodge Viper is here and the 25th birthday also marks the end of the road for the Viper. Dodge has decide to end Viper production and as the car rolls off into the sunset, five special editions will be created to celebrate the final year of Dodge’s coolest car.
There are five 25th Anniversary limited edition models including the 1:28 Edition ACR to celebrate the lap record that the car holds at Laguna Seca. The GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR wears an iconic Viper livery. One of the coolest of the limited edition models is the VoooDoo II Edition ACR.
Dodge is also offering a Snakeskin Edition GTC wearing a snakeskin stripe. The final is a Dodge Dealer Edition Viper ACR offered through Tomball and Roanoke Dodge Dealers. Some limited edition models have a badge on the instrument panel that can be customized with the buyer’s name. The rarest of the limited edition models will be the Snakeskin Edition GTC with only 25 units being produced for 2017. The most prolific of the limited editions is the Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR with up to 100 units being made. There is no word on pricing or availability for these limited edition Vipers just yet.
