Spanish brothers based in Madrid have unveiled a new open source, printed circuit board printer they have built that is powered by an Atmel-based Arduino Uno (ATmega328) development board.
The awesome printed circuit board printer has been named Diyouware, and was inspired by the RepRap 3D printer. Diyouware has been developed over the last few years and the team of brothers are already working on the next project, the DiyouPCB MKII.
Check out the video below to learn more about this innovative new printed circuit board printer which is sure to revolutionise the way makers, developers and hobbyists are able to create new projects and devices from the desktop. The brothers explain :
“Diyouware is an initiative of two brothers from Madrid (Spain) passionate about design, electronics, robotics, mechatronics and software development.
Our goal is to have fun doing what we love: design open source, low-cost, easy to manufacture robotic tools which help people all over the world to build industrial quality things at home and by themselves.
In short: help to create the first generation of robots that will be in all our garages helping us to make things. Diyouware means that: “do-it-yourself-ware” – that hardware that you create by yourself.”
