The typography designers at Nun and Associates have created a new augmented typeface that provides a way for typography to “come alive”. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the unique augmented typeface called Diodon which animates to offer you a unique graphical experience. “Imagine a typography which comes alive, animates to offer you a unique graphical experience. It’s Diodon, the first augmented typography. A digital typography and a mobile application to change everything.”
“The mobile app, uses photo sensor to recognize each character of the typography. It analyzes the image and computes the position of hundreds of reference points while comparing it to database. Each time it find a match, the app start to add a animated version of the letter, above it. It maintains its position and perspective in a 2D realtime mapping, regardless to its size.”
