Digital Storm this week unveiled its next generation of Avon gaming laptops which are now equipped with 9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors taking the form of Intel’s i7-9750H CPU. “Our latest and most advanced laptop for gamers, content creators, and professionals, delivers incredible processing power and graphics for all types of power users”.
“The world is now your playground. The Digital Storm Avon gaming laptop will blow the doors off today’s most demanding games with maximum detail, speed, and power wherever you go.”
Intel’s new i7-9750H processor provides a substantial improvement over its predecessor, providing users with Turbo Boost technology offering up to 4.5 GHz and “unleashing huge levels of performance” in a compact gaming laptop. The 14nm Coffee Lake architecture of the i7-9750H unlocks higher levels of processing power at the same thermal design power. The Tech Power Up website writes :
“Avon provides a no compromise user experience thanks to an incredibly sleek and narrow 6mm bezel that enabled us to pack the equivalent of a 17.3″ screen into a traditional 15″ laptop footprint. In addition, a tactile and responsive mechanical keyboard along with a four heat-pipe cooling array allows Avon to raise the performance bar without thermal throttling issues.”
