Gamers looking to record their online exploits for bragging rights and prosperity, might be interested in the new Diamond Multimedia GC1000 recording system, which has been launched this week.
The Diamond Multimedia GC1000 has been created to make it easy to record and edit your games whilst you play on your Xbox 360 or PS3. The GC1000 can also be connected to your camcorder, satellite set-top box.
Diamond Multimedia has designed their USB 2.0 recorder to capture HD 1080i footage via either HDMI or Component connections, and the system also supports H.264 hardware compression.
“Diamond Video Capture (DVC) enables recording as well as upload to YouTube functionality. The internals of the GC1000 include the ADV7611 HDMI receiver and the ADV7181C HD analog video decoder from Analog Devices and the Fujitsu MB86H58 H.264 video compression chip “
The is also Microsoft Windows XP, Vista & 7 Compatible and is now available to purchase for around $140. If thats a little steep for your budget a GC500 version is also available for $70.
