It looks like we missed something yesterday when posted the details of the new netbook from Dell, the Inspiron Mini 9.
The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 will come with built in 3G, and mobile phone companies will be selling it, or giving it away with a 3G contract.
According to Pocket Lint, Vodafone will be the first to launch the Mini 9 in the UK with a 3G contract, there is no word on pricing with the contract as yet, but knowing Vodafone it will be a subsidised purchase or they could be free depending on which contract.
Andrew Sangster, director of PC Connectivity, Vodafone, said: “Todays announcement marks the next step in the evolution of mobile broadband services bringing mobile broadband into the hands of many more customers”.
Vodafone will be announcing details of packages and pricing over the next few weeks.
