Following on from the official launch back in August of the new Dell XPS 13 laptop, this week Dell has announced its availability in Platinum Silver with black carbon fiber interior priced from $990. If you are holding out for the Frost and Rose Gold this laptop is also expected to to launch during “Fall 2019” and should be available in the coming weeks.
As you would expect Dell has made available a wide variety of different configurations up to the $1,421 version equipped with a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10710U Processor, supported by 16GB LPDDR3 2133MHz On-board and fitted with a 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive. All systems are preloaded with Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 home 64-bit edition and feature a 13.3 inch display with a choice of 1080p or 4K resolutions depending on your budget and requirements.
“We’ve redefined sophistication with our new Platinum Silver with black carbon fiber interior. Frost or Rose Gold with Arctic White woven glass fiber interior coming Fall 2019. The new XPS 13 webcam isn’t just smaller (only 2.25mm)—it’s also better. A new 4-element lens uses more elements than a typical webcam to deliver sharp video in all areas of the frame, while temporal noise reduction uses advanced noise reduction, significantly improving video quality, especially in dim lighting conditions. Finally, the lens is assembled with precise machinery to ensure all points of the image are in focus.”
