I learned from an early age living with a brother than when the alarm went off in the mornings you had better get out of bed in a hurry if you expected to have any hot water or good cereal left. I have never had a hard time waking in the morning, but my wife does. She is worse than any kid about getting up.
For people like her who will turn off an alarm and go back to sleep this concept alarm clock pillow might do the trick. The pillow looks like a normal pillow to lay your cranium on but inside is a vibrating motor that shakes you awake at whatever hour you pick.
To set the alarm you pull the red tab out until the hour you need to wake is shown and the pillow counts down. I don’t see a way to add minutes to the mix. The concept would also allow you to activate the snooze by lifting your head.
