We hope you have a hankering for old school RTS action, but if you don’t that’s okay, EA didn’t want you to have it anyway. Or at least not yet. Good things come to those who wait, don’t you know and especially to those who are waiting for a new C&C after last year’s disappointingly mediocre outing.
EA apparently pulled the trigger on www.cncstage.com, a website for the newest member of the C&C franchise developed by a triumvirate of Los Angeles, Texas and Shanghai studios amalgamated under the name Victory Games. An um… eclectic mix, to be sure, to be headed up by an exec named Jon Van Caneghem, formerly of Trion fame. The website is also reported to have contained an interview with the exec that signaled an announcement planned for later this yearas well as the secret to getting Pandas to mate, but mostly just the C&C stuff.
