Chevrolet has gone official with a couple new versions of its mid-size Colorado truck, and both of them look really cool. The special editions include the Midnight Edition and the Z71 Trail Boss. The Midnight Edition is available on the LT model with extended cab or crew cab bodies. The blacked out version of the truck can be purchased in 2WD or 4WD versions.
The Midnight Edition gets buyers a black truck with the grille, bowtie emblem, and wheels all in black. The bed gets a spray-on bedliner and a soft folding tonneau cover that is black. Buyers will be able to get the truck with two gas engine options or the new 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel. Chevy isn’t giving up the details on pricing just yet on the Midnight Edition Colorado.
The other version is a very cool off-road focused version of the Z71. Trail Boss buyers get more aggressive off-road inspired enhancements on the outside of the truck. Those enhancements include black 17-inch wheels with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTec 265/65R 17 all-terrain tires. The package also includes fender flares, tubular assist steps, spray-on bed liner, all weather floor mats, and a black bowtie emblem. A sport bar with LED trail lighting is also included. This package is available on the Z71 model in 2WD or 4WD with all engine options in both cab configurations.
