New details released this week for the upcoming and highly anticipated Destiny multiplayer game currently in the final stages of development by Bungie. Have revealed that gamers can expect to enjoy four story chapters within the Destiny beta development stage.
Users on Reddit have divulged that as well as the already mentioned four story chapters, Destiny beta will also include four competitive multiplayer maps, a cooperative Strike, and a huge open world environment for players to explore accompanied by their own unique Guardian.
Bungie will start the Destiny Beta development stage later this week on Thursday, July 17th for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and 3 consoles and a little later on July 23rd for Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Its thought that the Destiny beta download size will be around 12.63GB in size and as reported last week the beta keys provides 3 Destiny beta key codes for gamers to distribute to their friends and family. Destiny will be officially launching on September 9th, 2014 and will be available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
“Destiny is set seven hundred years into the future in a post-apocalyptic setting following a prosperous period of exploration, peace and technological advancement known as the Golden Age.
In a universe where humans have spread out and colonized planets in the Solar System, an event known as “the Collapse” saw the mysterious dissolution of these colonies, the end of the Golden Age, and mankind teetering on the brink of extinction.”
