The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 launched last month, and now it looks like Samsung will be launching a brown version of the tablet, which you can see in the photo below that was posted online by @evleaks.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features an 8 inch WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and it will come with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, it also features Samsung’s S-Pen stylus.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 include a 1.9GHz quad core A9 processor and 2GB of RAM, it will be available with a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage and it also features a microSD card slot which can take up to 64GB cards.
Camera and Connectivity Features
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features dual cameras with a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera for photos and video. The rear camera is capable of capturing high-quality images and videos, making it a versatile tool for both casual photography and more serious endeavors. The front camera, while modest in resolution, is sufficient for video calls and selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is well-equipped. It supports 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of wireless networks. WiFi Direct allows for easy file sharing between compatible devices without the need for a wireless access point. Bluetooth 4.0 provides a reliable connection for wireless peripherals such as headphones, keyboards, and mice. Additionally, the tablet includes a USB 2.0 port for wired data transfer and charging.
Software and Additional Features
The Galaxy Note 8.0 runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which, while not the latest version of Android, still offers a smooth and responsive user experience. Samsung has also included its own custom software enhancements, such as the TouchWiz user interface and a suite of S-Pen optimized applications. These applications take full advantage of the included S-Pen stylus, allowing users to draw, take handwritten notes, and navigate the tablet with precision.
One of the standout features of the Galaxy Note 8.0 is its multi-window functionality, which allows users to run two apps side-by-side. This feature is particularly useful for multitasking, as it enables users to, for example, browse the web while taking notes or watch a video while checking email.
The tablet also includes a robust set of pre-installed apps, including Samsung’s own suite of productivity tools such as S Note, S Planner, and Polaris Office. These apps are designed to enhance productivity and make the most of the tablet’s hardware capabilities.
