Piote has taken to Kickstarter this month to raise funds to take its new Wave development board into production. Wave has been designed to provide an easy way to create music responsive LED art and projects, while also learning to program computers.
The Arduino compatible development board is now available to back via Kickstarter with pledges starting from $65. Check out the video below to learn more about its features and functionality and how it can be used to create music responsive projects.
Music-Responsive LED Art projects can create beautiful, compelling light shows from your favorite songs. The only way to get a display that is perfect for you is to build your own – a challenging project requiring both hardware and programming skills. That’s why we created Wave.
We designed BreadBro Wave to help you easily create beautiful, musically reactive LED art projects while you learn about computer programming and electronics hardware. After completing a project with Wave, not only will you have a beautiful piece of LED art, you’ll also have an Open Source development board for any project you can imagine.
While you build your project, you’ll be learning the fundamentals of computer programming with Arduino, a programming language similar to C++. Even if you’ve never written a line of code before, Wave can help you create any musical light show that you can imagine.
