Bollinger Motors has uvnield its new B1 truck hailed as the world’s first all-electric sport utility truck. The truck is said to be a back to basics electric sport utility truck with exceptional off-road capability. The truck has a “classic 3-box” look and is 150-inches long overall. It is 76.5-inches wide and 73.5-inches all.
The truck promises a 50/50 weight distribution and full-time all-wheel drive. The powertrain uses dual electric motors and the truck boasts 15.5-inches of ground clearance and is adjustable with hydro-pneumatic suspension. Each wheel has 10-inches of travel.
The electric drivetrain has 360hp and 472 lb-ft of torque providing a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds. Buyers can opt for a 60 kwh or 100 kWh battery pack giving 120 or 200 miles of driving range. Deliveries are set for early 2018 and the truck can be reserved with $1,000 down, exact pricing is unknown.
