We have heard a lot about the new BlackBerry Slider, the BlackBerry Venice and now we have some details on what the device will be called when it launches.
According to Evan Blass when the BlackBerry Venice launches it will be called the BlackBerry Priv, the ‘Priv’ name could stand for privacy, as the handset is expected to add a number of security features to Android.

So far we know some of the specifications on the BlackBerry Priv, the handset will feature a slide out full QWERY keyboard and will come with a 5.4 inch display, the display on the device is rumored to feature a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The handset will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor from Qualcomm and it will come with 3GB of RAM, as yet there are no details on what storage options it will come with.
The device will also come with front and rear facing cameras, the front camera is said to be a 5 megapixel version of Selfies and video calls and the rear camera is said to be a 16 megapixel or 18 megapixel camera.
The BlackBerry Priv will come with Android, and also a range of BlackBerry features, as yet there are no details on which version of Google’s mobile OS the device will feature. The handset is expected to go on sale in November so we can expect more news on the device next month.
