The last thing we heard about the new BlackBerry Slider, which is also known as the BlackBerry Venice, is that the device is headed to US mobile carrier AT&T and now the handset has popped up in India’s import database.
There are rumors that the new BlackBerry Slider may be an Android powered device, although we have also heard rumors that it is a BlackBerry 10 smartphone, leading to speculation that there will be two versions of the device.
The BlackBerry Slider is rumored to feature a 5.4 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 32560 x 1440 pixels, it will also come with a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
The handset is rumored to be powered by an octa core 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and will apparently feature 3GB of RAM, the device is also rumored to feature a high end camera. The rear camera on the Venice is said to be an 18 megapixel version and the front camera is said to be a 5 megapixel model.
As yet there are no details on when the device will launch, we previously heard it was headed to AT&T in November, of course it could possibly launch before this date.
