Bentley has revealed a new limited edition version of their Continental GT, the Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition.
There will be just 100 units of the Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition made and they will be hand built by Mulliner in Crewe.
The Continental GT Number 9 Edition by Mulliner is inspired by Bentley’s illustrious motorsport past and incorporates a number of distinctive features into the world’s most luxurious Grand Tourer. Just 100 examples will be handbuilt by Mulliner in Crewe, England, based on the Continental GT this year.
Number 9 Edition by Mulliner pays homage to Sir Henry Ralph Stanley ‘Tim’ Birkin – one of the original, ‘Bentley Boys’ of the 1920s and ‘30s. Birkin was a Bentley customer, investor and a racing driver, full of entrepreneurial spirit and ambition – and through the determined collaboration of man and machine, the 4 ½ litre ‘Blower’ was born.
Design and Features
The Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition is not just a car; it is a tribute to a bygone era of racing excellence and luxury. Each of the 100 units will feature a unique design that incorporates elements from Bentley’s rich history. The exterior of the car is adorned with a special “No. 9” badge, reminiscent of the racing number used by Birkin. The car is available in two exclusive colors: Viridian green and Beluga black, both of which add to its classic appeal.
Inside, the car boasts a luxurious cabin with a mix of modern technology and vintage aesthetics. The dashboard features a piece of wood from the original 1930 Bentley Blower, adding a touch of history to the interior. The seats are upholstered in high-quality leather, and the steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara, providing both comfort and style. Additionally, the car comes with a bespoke Mulliner clock, further emphasizing its exclusivity.

Under the hood, the Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine that delivers an astonishing 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 207 mph.
