Bang & Olufsen have today announced the launch of three new speaker to their existing range with the unveiling and launch of the Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 17, BeoLab 18 and BeoLab 19.
The slimline Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 18 speaker is the company’s latest sculpture-like audio line and the speakers are designed to be mounted on walls or stand on the floor and features an acoustic lens tweeter and a 21-lamella front available in solid oak, black, or white cabinets.
The Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 19 is a subwoofer promising lots of bass and takes at the form of a 12-faced deodecahedron and features a pair of drivers operating in phase to reduce unwanted vibration.
The new Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 18 speaker have been created as a tribute to the Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 8000 speakers and uses a similar tapered base which was originally inspired by the conical shape of an organ pipe.
“The acoustic lens spreads optimal sound quality evenly through the room in a 180 degree horizontal arc. Beautifully crafted from aluminium, the lens is further accentuated with a subtle green glow when BeoLab 18 is turned on. A stunning touch of engineering with sound performance at its heart.”
The Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 17 which is pictured below has been designed in the form of a wedge and has been created to either be positions on stands or placed anywhere from a bookshelf to the wall.
All the new speakers will be available from Bang & Olufsen stores next month and will be priced accordingly Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 17 $3990 per set, BeoLab 18 $6590 per set, oak face will cost an extra $1390 and the BeoLab 19 subwoofer will cost you $3395. All three Bang & Olufsen Beolab speakers feature WiSA multichannel wireless sound technology inside.
