Those of you patiently waiting for the launch of the new Ember 3D Printer created by Autodesk and first unveiled back in May of this year by Autodesk as part of their new Spark 3D printing platform.
You will be pleased to know that Autodesk has this week started taking orders for the Ember 3D Printer which is priced at $5,995 and excludes shipping, handling and customs duties that may be required for international delivery.
Ahead of the official launch of the new Ember 3D printer Autodesk will also launch their new Ember Explorer Program, designed to bring together qualified industry leaders, software developers, materials scientists, research institutions, makers and hackers to experience and experiment with this new technology, autodesk explains continuing :
“The Ember Explorer program will (subject to specified terms), provide Explorer program members with an early build version of the Ember printer, an Ember Explorer printer supply bundle, an Ember finishing kit, dedicated technical support, access to Explorer information, invitations to exclusive events and the option to provide direct feedback and potentially impact the final production of the Ember printer.”
