Apex Creations has created a new desktop CNC laser engraver called the Aurora which is capable of providing a work area of 32 x 32” in size and provides a high-powered large volume DIY laser engraver for makers and hobbyists around the world.

What is Aurora? Aurora is an incredibly unique DIY Laser engraver and cutter. Aurora sports a powerful 7 Watt Laser and a ludicrous 32”x32” Engraving Area. It has been designed from the ground up to be easy to use and easy to assemble, with no compromises made on travel speed, fidelity and power. On Average it takes just two hours to fully assemble and get working.
Aurora is capable of engraving on all types of materials including but not limited to: Plastics, Hard and Soft Woods, Cardboard, Leather, Rubber, And Some Metals Aurora is also capable of cutting ⅛ Hard and Soft Wood, Foam, Cardboard, 1mm-2mm Plastics/Acrylics, and ⅛ Leather. Through the usage of ACME threaded rods as opposed to belts it is able to reach positioning resolutions up to 1.5 Microns.
