Arduino enthusiasts looking for a development board that is Internet of Things ready and offers 12 functions including a WiFi plug, Clock , EEPROM, SD, buzzer, NRF24 plug, LCD, RGB led, rotary encoder, buttons.
Maybe interested in the InvIoT U1 which has been created by Dimitri Synodinos. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about each individual future and the development Board which is now available to back via Kickstarter with pledges starting from just $36.
Many Arduino Enthusiasts, including me, spend a fair amount of time trying to connect different modules together. The hardware ends up to have a large size, cost is high, and you need to spend a lot of time to get the libraries working. The InvIoT U1 features many hardware accessories in a clean compact layout. A lot of creative people are spending many hours assembling circuit boards and yet they always end up creating a bird nest.
Great for education. Great for people that are just starting. Without having to connect any devices, you can be ready at no time to start writing a new code, or changing the existing code on one of the examples/applications. Compatible with Arduino IDE development environment and existing arduino sketches.
Writing the library was the most time consuming (over 5000 lines of code!). One file to download/unzip and you are ready to go for all the hardware devices, menus, EEPROM, clock, rotary, buttons, and more. No need to install any other library if you don’t need it. Over 50 examples/applications and an offline help for every function that is included in the library. U1 model – UNO + LCD + SD + Rotary + Clock + WiFi plug + EEPROM + Buzzer + Buttons + RGB led + NRF24 plug for wireless communication, + more.
It’s time to work mostly on your software, and not on the hardware or the libraries. Its an UNO with goodies!
