Apple will launch three iPhone 8 handsets this year, one of those will be a 5.7 inch OLED iPhone 8, the other two handsets will have LCD display and come with a 4.7 inch screen and a 5.5 inch screen.
According to a recent report, the new OLED iPhone 8 will come with an upgraded earpiece to provide improved call quality, the news comes from JPMorgan analysts who have received details from Apple’s supply chain in Asia.
As well as the improved earpiece, the new OLED iPhone 8 will also come with improved water resistance over the current models and it will feature an IP68 rating.
As this model will be more expensive than the other two models, Apple may add in some free accessories which will not be available on the other handsets, there is the possibility that the handset could come bundled with a set of Apple AirPods.
The high end OLED iPhone 8 is expected to retail for more than $1,000 for the top model and it will probably come with more storage options than then standard handsets.
We have heard rumors that Apple’s new iPhones will get a new design and will feature new materials over the current models.
The handset is said to come with a stainless steel chassis and a glass back casing. Apple are expected to launch their new iPhones in September.
