We pretty much know that Apple is working on their own HDTV, we have previously heard a number of rumors that the device may be unveiled before the end of the year, and now there are rumors that the device may go into production in quarter three of 2012.
According to a recent report, Apple’s manufacturing partner Foxconn is expected to receive their first shipment of LCD panels for Apple’s HDTV in the third quarter of this year.
The panels are apparently being supplied by Sharp, and they have already been ordered according to the report, which could mean that the devices will go into production some time in quarter three.
Whether or not Apple will sell their new HDTV before the end of the year remains to be seen, but if the device was launched before the holiday shopping season it could end up being very profitable for Apple.
