Apple released their iOS 12 software on Monday, 48 hours after release the software has been installed on 10 percent of Apple’s devices.
This is apparently a slower uptake than last years iOS 11 which was on 10 percent of devices after 24 hours. The previous year iOS 10 was installed on 14.45 percent of devices after 24 hours.
When iOS 11 was released last year there were a number of issues with the software, this could be one of the reasons why people are not updating to the new iOS 12 software just yet.
Apple’s iOS 12 is designed to be faster and bring improved performance to all iOS devices, specifically older devices. It is definitely worth upgrading as the software appears to be stable with no major issues and it is faster on a number of devices. It also includes a range of new features for the iPhone and iPad as well as the performance improvements.
