Soon after Apple released the final version of their new Apple iOS 7 mobile operating system it was noticed that you could bypass the lock screen to put the smartphone into sleep mode using Siri commands.
The new vulnerability is now being looked at by Apple.who is working on a fix for the exploit according to the All Things D website.
Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller told AllThingsD : “Apple takes user security very seriously,”-“We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.”
Until Apple releases a new update to fix the issue you can protect yourself by disabling access to Control Center on your iOS device’s lockscreen.
To do this goto : Settings > Control Center, look for “Access on Lock Screen” and toggle it to the off position.
